High-flying Ceva takes on Airbus work in Hamburg

Ceva Logistics has been awarded a contract to manage production supply for Airbus at the aircraft manufacturer’s assembly site in Hamburg, Germany. It will operate logistics at multiple locations with a total area of 58,631sq m including inbound logistics, put away/storage, pick and prepare, marketplace, internal transport, delivery to point of use, returns, empties handling and external dispatch. It will also initiate and implement logistics improvements and projects to further increase efficiency. The logistics company has taken on existing staff at the Hamburg sites under Transfer of Undertakings Protection of Employment regulations.
