HMRC to procure next phase of Northern Ireland scheme
[ September 17, 2024 // Chris Lewis ]HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) has launched a competitive procurement exercise for the next phase of the Trader Support Service (TSS) for businesses moving goods between Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
It said the procurement exercise will begin by early 2025, to deliver ongoing support for traders from 2026.
Meanwhile, the current TSS has been extended to the end of 2025 as the implementation of the Windsor Framework progresses.
TSS aims to help businesses adjust to the new post-Brexit trading environment, helping them comply with Windsor Framework requirements and has been in operation since 2020.
