Hydrogen hub set to transform Tees transport

Mott MacDonald has developed a masterplan for the UK’s first multi-modal hydrogen transport hub in the Tees Valley, on behalf of theDepartment for Transport (DfT). Development of the hub will be kickstarted with £3m in government funding and could be fully operational by 2025. Retailers, warehouse operators and delivery companies could all use hydrogen-powered transport to move goods and carry out last mile deliveries.
