IAG Cargo chief cleared for take-off
[ November 6, 2015 // Chris ]Current chief executive of IAG Cargo, In addition Steve Gunning, is leaving the post to become chief financial officer at British Airways as part of a reshuffle of the carrier’s top management. His successor will be announced later. IAG chief executive, Willie Walsh, said: “He has been highly effective in setting up IAG’s first ever single business unit at IAG Cargo. The business is industry-leading with a ground breaking operating model and cost focus.”
At the same time, current boss of IAG’s Vueling subsidiary Alex Cruz is to replace Keith Williams as chairman and chief executive of British Airways in April 2016 when Williams retires after 18 years at the airline.
