IAG delivers Christmas package

With the last ‘ship-by’ date for Christmas shipments by sea now passed, IAG Cargo has released a calendar of key dates to ensure its customers can airfreight their goods in time for the Holiday Season. Customers will be relying upon air freight more than ever to ensure the shelves are stocked in time, it says.

The carrier has also enhanced its operations for the holiday period including 2,000 new same day connections through Heathrow hub to enable more last minute movements, more capacity at its Premia cargo handling facility to accommodate the expected rise in e-commerce small packages shipments and eight new secure trucks at Heathrow for last-minute high-value shipments.
