IAG launches Ecuador flight

IAG Cargo has launched a new route from Madrid to Guayaquil, Ecuador. The three times a week service is operated by an Airbus A330-200. It has also increased the frequency of its flight from London Heathrow and Madrid to Sao Paolo and Mexico City and will restart services from Madrid to San Juan, Puerto Rico in July. The Guayaquil flight is an important for the perishables sector, with the Netherlands and Spain important export markets for key Ecuadorian goods like flowers. Services to Sao Paolo from Madrid are operated by an A330-300 and four times a by a Boeing 787 or 777 from London Heathrow.
