IAG nose the way to San Jose
[ September 23, 2015 // Chris ]IAG Cargo will launch a new daily route from London Heathrow to San Jose, California on 4 May 2016, operating daily with a British Airways B787-9 aircraft. Capacity will be seven pallets and up to 16 tonnes of lift on each flight in a fully air-conditioned hold.
The new service departs Heathrow at 15:15 arriving in San Jose at 18:05 local time, returning at 20:00 , arriving back in London at 14:05 local time the following day. San Jose is close to the Silicon Valley region and IAG also expects to move perishables such as grapes and strawberries. The route will also provide overspill support for cargo flights out of Los Angeles and San Francisco.
