IAG to restore Jeddah route
[ October 18, 2024 // Chris Lewis ]IAG Cargo will restore its London Heathrow/Jeddah King Abdulaziz service from 2 November. The six times weekly service will be operated by a Boeing 787 widebody aircraft and will complement IAG Cargo’s existing ten times weekly Heathrow to Riyadh service. The route has been paused since the Covid-19 pandemic.
Chief sales and marketing officer, Camilo Garcia Cervera, said: “The resumption of the Jeddah will ensure additional choice and flexibility for our customers. Jeddah’s King Abdulaziz International Airport is a vital air cargo hub for trade between the East and West and with plans to double its cargo handling capacity.”
