Imperial delivers Xmas cheer
[ December 17, 2020 // Chris ]Logistics company Imperial is continuing its long tradition of Christmas donations, with three more charities receiving financial gifts this year.
Its Dutch business is to donate €2,500 to the Villa Pardoes project, which enables families who look after a seriously ill child to spend a relaxing week‘s holiday at a holiday complex, free of charge.
St. Raphael Knights of Malta Hospice Centre, based near Imperial’s International headquarters in Duisburg, Germany, will receive €2,500 to support its ongoing social work. The Polish business is giving €2,500 to the children’s home in Bnin near Poznań.
Imperial will continue to provide financial support to the SOS Children’s Village in Hungary in 2021.
Imperial’s international chief executive, Hakan Bicil said: “Even though many of us have been subject to greater emotional, financial and business pressures this year because of the coronavirus pandemic, we must always remember that there are people in society who are much worse off than us.”
