In-Post offers new solution

The parcels locker delivery system is being extended to the UK. Funded by a US private equity fund PineBridge Investments, it is supported by a private Polish postal company, Integer.Pl. And is already active in 16 other countries including Ireland, the Baltics, Russia, eastern Europe, Brazil, Chile, Saudi Arabia and Australia. InPost says it offers an alternative to an existing postal system that is mostly out of sync with the needs of consumers, particularly with the rise of e-commerce. It aims to set up over 2,000 parcel lockers across the UK by the end of 2013.
