India to Russia on the rails

Russian Railways’ RZD Logistics subsidiary and Azerbaijan Railways are to develop an international north–south transport corridor. Between India and Russia via Iran and Azerbaijan. It will offer transit times of 19 days, less than half the typical time by sea and a rate of $3,146 per 40ft container.
