It looks good on paper for ABP Kings Lynn
[ October 17, 2017 // Chris ]ABP’s Port of King’s Lynn handled two deliveries for the Palm Paper Power Station in Kings Lynn. On 6 October general cargo vessel Figaro brought in a 103-tonne gas turbine followed, on 9 October, by the Frisian River, with an electricity generator destined for Palm Paper’s newspaper printing site.
Palm, which produces up to 500,000 tons of newsprint a year at its Kings Lynn site, will use the power station to reduce its own electricity use and emissions, as well as deliver power to the national grid.
