Ital Logistics gives Young Forwarders DG insight

[ November 21, 2024   //   ]

Manchester forwarder Ital Logistics provided a dangerous goods awareness training workshop to members of BIFA’s Young Forwarders Network on 21 November. The session included presentations by company Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor (DGSA), Adam Smethurst and Simon Morley, managing director and DGSA of sister company Ital Transport.

Air Sea Containers provided UN approved packaging as demonstration items for the workshop.

Ital Logistics says its course is specifically designed as a ‘halfway house’ between a basic course and a step into the world of DGSA.

Participants learned how to use the ADR book as well as marking and labelling packages.

Ital hopes to work with BIFA again with similar courses in the future and it can also offer training courses and DGSA consultancy to third parties.
