It’s a no-brainer for Essex forwarder

Essex-based forwarder Freightbrain is moving from its hoime of 25 years in Witham to a new location in Braintree. The company explained that its current premises have seen better days and the opportunity has arisen to buy a detached warehouse unit of a similar size, complete with offices and fully secure warehouse space.

The town also has excellentt links to the road network such as the new dual-carriageway A120 link to the M11 and Stansted Airport, the A12 to Felixstowe and the A14 to the Midlands and beyond. Most staff live in the area.

Freightbrain plans to use the new capacity to increase its use of demountable stillages for storage. The warehouse is fully secure with modern police response alarm system and perimeter fencing together with fork-lift facilities.
