[ March 9, 2020 // Chris ]Kuehne and Nagel Ireland has been recognised as one of the best workplaces in the country at the 18th annual Great Place to Work awards in Dublin on 26 February. The forwarding and logistics company has been named by the Great Places to Work Institute as one of the Best Workplaces in Ireland for nine years running. It was also listed as one of Ireland’s Best Workplace’s for Women, for the second time.
Human resources director Garry McCabe, said: “How proud can you be? While we work very hard internally to build powerful connections among all of our people so we can develop high-trust relationships it is humbling to again be recognised as one of the very Best Employers. These meritocratic achievements make all of that hard work worthwhile.
Partner at Great Place to Work Ireland, Cathal Divilly, added: “Strong economic conditions have resulted in another record year for total number of employees participating in the Best Workplaces in Ireland process. The ‘war for talent’ is continuing apace with the best employers in Ireland competing for specific industry-critical skills, while a range of external social pressures are forcing organisations to develop innovative initiatives to help alleviate burdens faced by their employees.”
Great Place to Work Ireland is part of a global network of culture consultants, with offices in 48 countries using an established methodology to publish lists at country, regional, and global levels. The best known of these is the Fortune 100 list of Best Companies to Work For in the US.
