Joline back in Dover for more trials
[ April 18, 2013 // Chris ]Controversial cattle ship the mv Joline was due to arrive in Dover on about 17 April for the second phase of berthing trials. The purpose of the trial is to establish the feasibility of the vessel utilising the port’s large vehicle ferry berths in the Eastern Docks in preference to Ramsgate. The result of a previous trial was inconclusive, said the port.
The move has already attracted protests from animal rights activists.
