K Line sets up Vietnam cold store business
[ September 26, 2014 // Chris ]K Line has set up a joint venture cold storage business in Vietnam in partnership with Cool Japan Fund and Japan Logistic Systems. The parnters will build and operate a 9,300sq m cold store in the outskirts of Ho Chi Minh City.
Food consumption in Vietnam is changing, with a switch to supermarkets, convenience stores and restaurants. At the same time, however, there is a shortage of high-performance cold storage so upgrades to the country’s present cold chain will be required.
K Line Group will provide services tailored to the needs of customers, focusing on freight shipments from Japan to Vietnam.
