KN opens in Dominican Republic

Kuehne + Nagel has opened an office Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. It will provide the full product and service range in sea- and airfreight as well as tailor-made solutions for industry sectors including pharma, perishables and consumer goods. Over the last two decades the Dominican Republic developed into one of the fastest growing economies in Latin America and, due to its favourable geographical position, demand for logistics services has increased. Eduardo Steigerwald, Managing director of Kuehne + Nagel in the Caribbean, Central America and Venezuela, said that free zone incentives in combination with various trade agreements “make the Dominican Republic an interesting market.”
