Le Truck Village celebrates fourth birthday
[ November 21, 2024 // Chris Lewis ]LeShuttle Freight has celebrated four years since the opening of Le Truck Village in 2020, a secure and safe space for drivers as they travel between the UK and Europe.
Situated off the A16 motorway in Coquelles and with over 270 spaces available, Lthe Village has to date welcomed over 400,000 vehicles and the number of entries has increased 52% since 2021. Services on offer every include freshly cooked food, free hot drinks showers, laundry and Wi-Fi.
Chief commercial director at LeShuttle, Deborah Merrens, comments: “When we first created Le Truck Village, we wanted it to be a way to enhance the experience and create a welcoming space for drivers to enjoy a well-deserved break as part of their journey. It needed to be a one-stop space which not only offers the practical amenities we know drivers need, but also brought a bit of fun and joy to their day. “Since day one, we have tried to go above and beyond, with live events – such as our recent live music blues night – to giveaways and sporting showcases from sunglasses to teddy bears. We hope it brings a bit of brightness and joy to our drivers’ days, as well as being a spot for rest and recuperation before continuing on their journey.”
