Liverpool wins FedEx green city funds

Five European cities, including Liverpool along with others in Spain and Portugal have won funding in the second edition of the Sustainable Cities Mobility Challenge, part sponsored by FedEx Express along with the EIT Climate-KIC innovation agency.

The Greening Liverpool Project aims to improve active travel and green infrastructure at four locations in the city including cycle lanes, improved accessibility and increased biodiversity.
