Logistics UK teams up with Freightlink

Logistics UK has launched a Freight Ferry Service in partnership with Preston-based booking company, Freightlink. It says the Logistics UK Freight Ferry Service will enable members to obtain the best possible value for their freight movements with discounts offered in addition to the company’s existing pricing. All freight vehicles operated by Logistics UK members are eligible to use the service, from smaller vans to HGVs.

Head of membership at Logistics UK, Al Richardson, said: “Our new service will take advantage of Freightlink’s expertise to provide members with a seamless experience every time they book a journey. The combined reputation of both organisations means we are able to offer genuine reductions and first-class customer support, seven days a week.”

Freightlink managing director, Alex McDonald addes: “We are delighted to be partnering with Logistics UK to provide this new solution to their membership.
