London Gateway handles first traffic

The new London Gateway port has handled its first commercial traffic. Operators DP World and Shell are celebrating the official opening of a new tanker jetty that will deliver a quarter of all aviation fuel to the airports in the South East of England. The container terminal at London Gateway is scheduled to open in late 2013.
