Lufthansa adds China freighter flights
[ July 11, 2024 // Chris Lewis ]Lufthansa Cargo has announced flights to two more Asian stations with its B777F long-haul fleet from its home hub in Frankfurt – Shenzhen Boa’an twice a week in future while it had already started freighter flights to Zhengzhou three days a week. The airline expects the take delivery of another B777 freighter in the summer.
The carrier is now offering 19 destinations with 47 weekly frequencies in Asia.
Chief executive Ashwin Bhat said that Lufthansa Cargo was continuing to see high demand in China, especially in Europe with the e-commerce segment growing particularly strongly.
