Lufthansa reveals winter freighter plans
[ October 21, 2020 // Chris ]Lufthansa Cargo is promising an average of 35 freighter connections a week between Europe and Asia in its winter schedule for cargo aircraft. Destinations will include Shanghai, Beijing, Chengdu, Seoul, Tokyo, Osaka, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore and Tashkent.
There will be 34 freighter flights a week between Europe and North America with Chicago, New York, Los Angeles and Atlanta (the most frequently served airports, along with Houston, Seattle, Dallas, Mexico City, Guadalajara and Toronto. Some North Atlantic flights will also include Stavanger in Norway.
There will be four times a week flights connecting Frankfurt with Campinas, Curitiba and Recife in Brazil, plus Buenos Aires and Montevideo.
There are also four weekly round-trips to Cairo and Tel Aviv.
