Lufthansa to modernise Frankfurt terminal
[ September 20, 2012 // Chris ]Lufthansa is to build a modern logistics centre at Frankfurt Airport, despite the night-flight ban imposed by a court earlier in the year, said the German flag carrier on 19 September. The building will replace the existing over 30-year-old Lufthansa Cargo Centre and is due to go into operation in 2018. Lufthansa CEO and chairman Dr Christoph Franz said that in view of the competitive disadvantages of the night ban compared with other locations, it was all the more important to have a reliable and efficient infrastructure.
