Maersk signs green fuel deal with Amazon

AP Moller – Maersk has signed an agreement with online retailer Amazon to transport 20,000 containers using green biofuel through Maersk’s ECO Delivery ocean service in 2023-24. The line estimates that will contribute to a reduction in 44,600 tonnes of CO2e versus standard bunker fuel. It is the fourth consecutive year that Amazon and Maersk have arranged container shipping using low GHG fuel options.
