Making Multimodal an even ‘app-ier experience

[ May 19, 2022   //   ]

The Multimodal exhibition’s MultiApp free e business app for all registered visitors, is set to launch on Wednesday 25 May.

MultiApp is an electronic show guide providing registered delegates with a show programme, floor plan, and a full exhibitor index. It can also be used to arrange delegate meetings in advance of the show, send messages, and enable users to build their own personal schedule.

Show director Robert Jervis explains: “One of the major benefits of the show is to create a platform for business relationships to be cemented, reforged or begun, and MultiApp is the perfect tool to support this.

“Through MultiApp, registered delegates get full and free access to all Multimodal news and information, including visitor and exhibitor profiles which makes it a vital business tool for the exhibition.”

The three-day event, on 14-16 June at the Birmingham NEC, also hosts the Multimodal Awards and gala dinner on the first evening. The UK’s transport and logistics industry benchmarking event has sold out, with 850 guests having already booked their seats.

This year the Multimodal seminar programme examines supply chain sustainability and resilience with viewpoints from stakeholders across all modes. Topics range from an examination of the 2022 global container shipping market and the likely trading conditions during peak season, to analysis of the role of technology with regard to supply chain resilience, and sustainability.

Multimodal is also working with Logistics UK, Institute of Export & International Trade, the British International Freight Association, the United Kingdom Warehousing Association and the Rail Freight Group to develop further seminar tracks.

“We anticipate 9000 supply chain decision makers will visit the show this year, to network, learn and grow business with exhibitors from across the logistics industry,” said Jervis.

Exhibitors include Maersk, Malcolm Group, Maritime Transport, MSC, G&W, DP World, Kuehne + Nagel, O.N.E., Kerry Logistics, and ABP.
