Metro buys Felixstowe logistics firm
[ March 1, 2022 // Chris ]Metro Supply Chain Holdings (UK) Limited, a division of Canadian-based Metro Supply Chain has acquired Suffolk-based Century Logistics.
Located on the A14 corridor between the Midlands and the port of Felixstowe, Century Logistics provides warehousing, co-packing, ecommerce fulfillment, product repairs and product return services and manages seven distribution sites.
Metro Supply Chain has been operating in the UK since 2016 when it acquired emergency logistics firm Evolution Time Critical. In 2021, the company expanded operations to include five facilities in Wales dedicated to defence sector logistics.
With the acquisition of Century Logistics, Metro Supply Chain now manages more than 12 million square feet in over 80 distribution centres across North America and Europe.
