Minister to address FTA Scottish gathering
[ April 18, 2019 // Chris ]Cabinet Secretary for Transport, Infrastructure and Connectivity for the Scottish Government, Michael Matheson is to deliver the keynote address at the Freight Transport Association’s Logistics Scotland conference in Falkirk on 30 May. The news comes as the minister confirmed a £5 billion package of investment for Scotland’s infrastructure in 2019-20 including new roads and railways.
FTA said: “ Attendees at the conference will be keen to hear more of how this investment will be made to the benefit of Scotland’s logistics sector, which is helping the nation’s economy to outpace growth experienced in the rest of the UK. Other speakers will include representatives of Transport Scotland, Network Rail, Scottish Business Resilience Centre and the South East of Scotland Transport Partnership.
