More east Europe rail import options from FFG

Manchester based forwarder FFG is now offer a groupage and full load rail container service covering Slovakia, Hungary, Southern Poland and North West Romania, following the success of its rail container operations for the tile trade from the Czech Republic. The service is also provided in cooperation with Czech Partner, AGL. There has been strong interest from importers of food, stone and tile importers and garden machinery, says FFG.

By the end of the year, FFG expects to extend its rail operation with Romania providing direct services for containers from terminals at Curtici and Ploiesti. This will speed up container imports FFG’s Purfleet terminal allows for easy cross-docking operations onto curtain sided trailers and there are ample warehousing facilities.
