More space for Essex forwarder

Witham, Essex-based Velta Logistics has opened 100,000sq ft of additional warehousing close to its existing site. The new premises are fully customs bonded and also have RF barcoding and CFSP status.
Velta plans to bring containers direct from the Port of Felixstowe to Witham, unstuff them and store products for clients for distribution from there.
The new logistics site will be the head office for Velta Logistics Ltd whilst the existing facility will remain the head office for Velta International Ltd.
In August Velta opened a second air freight office in Manchester, complementing the established operation at Heathrow.
Velta is the official logistics provider for the Music Industry Association, and the Pro Light and Sound Association; the voice for the entertainment technology industry as well as an associated partner for the British Toy and Hobby Association. It is also strong in the bathroom and footwear markets.
