MSC makes offer for Bolloré Africa

The Bolloré Group has received an offer from the MSC Group to acquire 100% of Bolloré Africa Logistics, comprising all of the Bolloré Group’s transport and logistics activities for €5.7 billion.

It has granted MSC until 31 March 2022 to enable it to carry out additional due diligence checks and to submit a put option.

It adds that signature of the agreements may only take place after the competent employee representative bodies have been consulted and certain internal reorganisation carried out.

It would also require regulatory and competition authority approval.
