Multimodal 2024 dates confirmed
[ July 24, 2023 // Chris Lewis ]Next year’s Multimodal conference will take place on 11-13 June 2024 at the NEC in Birmingham, the show’s organisers have confirmed.
The event will once again showcase all key vertical sectors, including manufacturing, retail, agribusiness, chemical, automotive, electronics, FMCG, food & drink, fashion, pharmaceuticals, construction, aerospace, energy, real estate, recycling, paper/print and perishables, whilst horizontally, the show covers all modes of transportation, including sea, road, rail, air, and inland waterways.
The organisers aid that Multimodal 2023 was the biggest yet, with a sell-out exhibition, record visitor numbers and the most ever entries to its awards event. Over the three days of the show in June, 320 exhibitors showcased their products and services to 12,267 visitors – an increase of 25% on last year. In addition, the coveted awards ceremony received over 250 entries, beating previous numbers for this leading industry event.
Organisers were pleased to welcome exhibitor newcomers including Plan Transport, PwC, MG Invest, Calais Promotion, 3squared, ErgoPack, Miran Logistics, Ziegler Group, ICL and Payoneer, joining established supply chain industry exhibitors.
The 2023 event saw the introduction of The Google Digital Garage, where visitors received free training to improve their digital skills.
