Multimodal awards are open

The Freight Transport Association (FTA) Multimodal Awards 2017 are open for nominations online, and include a new category for Innovation in Infrastructure Projects.
Now in their second year, the Awards reward best-in-class across air, road, rail, and maritime services, as well as a young logistics professional, an innovative infrastructure project, and environmental best practice.
Winners will be announced at a gala dinner on 4 April 2017 at the VOX in Birmingham, at the close of the first day of Multimodal 2017, which takes place on 4-6 April at the Birmingham NEC.
Companies can nominate themselves or a supplier for the modal and forwarder categories using a simple online form at multimodal.org.uk.
The Young Professional and Innovation Awards can also be entered online.
Hosted by former England cricket captain and TV presenter David Gower OBE, 850 guests are expected to attend the Awards evening in Birmingham.
