Neptune takes to the roads

Freight forwarder Geodis has rolled out a new Neptune road transport web portal offering real-time co-ordination of transport activity, reporting and analysis of key performance indicators and document archiving. It allows hauliers and customers to manage all their activities from a single platform, for example scheduling collections and deliveries, planning resources, reporting incidents and faults or accessing digitalised transport documents.

The Neptune portal works within the framework of Zenith, the transport management system, which GEODIS has been developing since 2003 and into which the new mobile application, Zenmob feeds in real time.
