New blood for Neo

NEO Air Charter – the recently-launched ‘forwarders only’ cargo charter broker – has appointed Stefan Kohlmann as joint managing partner, jointly heading the company alongside Adnan Duran, who launched NEO last October. Kohlmann has spent a total of 23 years in airfreight, initially working for MSAS (now DHL), and then broker Chapman Freeborn, where he was most recently managing director of German operations.

At NEO, Kohlmann will assume specific responsibility for expanding the company’s network, both through the establishment of sales representatives in European markets, and the appointment of network partners worldwide. Kohlmann said: “The immediate and very positive response to NEO, and the feedback from Freight Forwarders and airlines, have been overwhelming. NEO has enjoyed an extremely successful start,  receiving many requests for quotations, and – more importantly – already fixing a number of charters.”
