New chief for TIACA

The International Air Cargo Association (TIACA) has appointed Doug Brittin as its new secretary general, succeeding Daniel Fernandez, who has been offered a substantial continuing role at the association. Brittin, who has 33 years in the industry, joined the US Transportation Security Administration as air cargo manager in 2007, where he was responsible for the development of the Certified Cargo Screening Program. In May 2010, he was promoted to division director, air cargo.
