New chief for TNT Express

TNT Express will appoint AkzoNobel Board member Tex Gunning as its new chief executive from 1 June 1. He takes over from Bernard Bot, who has been acting as interim CEO since the departure of former chief executive Marie-Christine Lombard to take up a similar role at French logistics firm Geodis last November. Gunning will leave his current post at AkzoNobel and will also relinquish his role as a member of TNT Express’ Supervisory Board.
