New ferry for Channel Islands

Condor Ferries is to introduce a new, larger high-speed vessel on its Channel Islands routes from March 2015. A larger ferry serving the Channel Islands is due to come into service in March, Condor Ferries has announced. The £50m Austal-class Condor 102 vessel will have 40% more vehicle space but will only operate from Poole as it is too large to use the harbour at Weymouth.
