New guide to keeping safe on the road

The Transported Asset Protection Association (TAPA) in Europe, Middle East and Africa has published a Driver Security Guide. It is available to download free from the industry Association’s website in 15 and discusses the supply chain security environment and associated risks. It also highlights the importance of communication with law enforcement and company management when incidents of cargo crime occurs.

Subject matter includes robbery and theft, deception crime, hijacking, illegal migrant and cybercrime.

It also offers advice to drivers on the best responses to incidents and the role of monitoring and response centres.
