New recruit for freight payment firm

Alastair Cairns has joined freight audit and pay company s enVista as sales director in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region. It follows the company’s setting up of a new a EMEA office at Ellesmere Port, near Liverpool by effectively taking over the EMEA representative office formerly operated by rival company nVision.

Cairns is described as “a supply chain professional with over 30 years’ experience of the international forwarding business, he has specialist expertise in shaping strategic direction, driving change and delivering significantly increased business performance. Prior to joining enVista he worked as an independent consultant and held senior management positions with Kuehne+Nagel, FX Coughlin and Air Express International.

He commented “I am extremely excited to join enVista and look forward to working with the exceptional team and together we will achieve great things.”
