New UK head for DP World

Ernst Schulze has taken up the reigns as DP World’s UK chief executive officer from Chris Lewis, who is retiring after 36 years in the ports industry. Mr Schulze will oversee the Southampton and London Gateway container terminals, the Logistics Park at London Gateway and customs clearance provider Community Network Services. He was previously in Ecuador where he has been heading up the development of DP World Posorja. He has also held senior port and logistics roles in the Philippines, France, Felixstowe and in the Netherlands.

Chris Lewis has meanwhile been appointed a non-executive director of container logistics company, Maritime Transport.
