New wagons to cut GBRf’s fuel bill

GB Railfreight took delivery of the first Ecofret2 triple-container flat wagons from VTG Rail in April at its headquarters in Peterborough. The design removes empty spaces that are often present in other wagons, which is not only operationally inefficient but causes turbulence during the journey and increases fuel consumption.
