Norbert Dentressangle has a warehousing and transport contract with Honda Trading Europe for a further three years

Honda Trading Europe (HTE) is a subsidiary of the Honda Motoring Corporation which manages the supply of parts from the Far East into the company’s UK manufacturing operations.

The logistics specialist said the renewal “reflects the excellent service levels achieved by Norbert Dentressangle over the last two and a half years, along with the company’s 100% record in both internal and external quality audits. Having worked closely with HTE to mitigate the effects of both the economic downturn and events such as the Japanese tsunami and floods in Thailand, Norbert Dentressangle’s proactive approach and proven ability to provide a flexible solution were also major factors.

Norbert Dentressangle transports around 600 containers a from Southampton into a dedicated 78,000 sq ft warehouse close to the Honda plant in Swindon. It also provides a wide range of value added services along with just in time delivery of parts to the production line.
