Nordic Transport buys British

[ March 31, 2025   //   ]

Nordic Transport Group’s NTG Ebrex UK arm has acquired EDS Worldwide and Rolls Freight. Founded in 1978 and 2002, respectively, EDS and Rolls Freight are Wolverhampton-based freight forwarding companies owned by the same shareholders, specialising in land transport with a strong focus on the Irish market.
Current managing directors Emma Pegg and David Keith Coley-Fisher will remain in key leadership roles within the combined set-up. Additionally, they will reinvest in NTG Ebrex UK, in line with NTG’s partnership model.
Chief executive of road and logistics at NTG, Jesper Petersen, said: “The acquisition of EDS and Rolls Freight demonstrates our dedication to expand our expertise and capabilities into the Irish market, an area where we see increasing demand from our customers. With daily departures between the UK and Ireland, we can add additional value to our customers.”
Earlier in 2025, NTG Nordic Transport Group acquired Danish-based DTK BE. The company provides part-load, full-load and temperature-controlled transportation plus logistics services in its home country and the UK, Germany and Sweden. DTK’s general cargo and warehousing services will cooperate closely with NTG Road while DTK’s temperature-controlled transportation division will continue independently, supported by NTG.
