Pall-Ex Poland’s ambitions centre on new Łódź hub

[ February 23, 2022   //   ]

Pall-Ex Poland has opened a new hub in Łódź, in the centre of the country. Around 140 km from the capital Warsaw, Łódź, is the traditional heart of the country’s textile industry and is now a favourite location for logistics companies operating within Poland and Eastern Europe.

Pall-Ex says the new hub will be “a vast improvement” on the previous site in Skierniewice and that it would support the network operator’s ambition to increase volumes to over 500,000 in 2023.

The new offices also include a training room, where staff can develop their skills in Pall-Ex Group’s IT system, Nexus.

Managing director of Pall-Ex Poland, Piotr Kołtuniak, comments: “Our new hub is a fantastic improvement over our previous facility in Skierniewice, meaning we can now really push on with our growth strategy. We have ambitious plans, but thanks to the investment of Pall-Ex Group and our partner Uniq Logistics, we are confident that no goal is out of reach.”

Pall-Ex Group’s chief financial officer, Peter Paxton, added: “We are really proud of what Piotr and the whole team have achieved so far in Poland. Their hard work and persistence continues to deliver great results.  The new hub signifies Pall-Ex Poland’s intention to become leaders in the palletised freight industry in the coming years. The state-of-the-art facility gives the network fantastic flexibility allowing it to maximise any opportunities that arise.”
