Palletline’s Kevin Buchanan moves to Pall-Ex

Former Palletline boss Kevin Buchanan is to join the rival Pall-Ex network as group managing director from 24 November. Former group MD Adrian Russell becomes deputy chairman, and Chris Tancock is promoted from sales director to deputy group MD as part of the strategy to develop European networks.
Hilary Devey, who continues as CEO said: “Kevin and I have been in discussion for some time about how he might help with the ongoing development of the business. It was Kevin’s track record and passion for quality and growth that convinced me that he has a pivotal role to play in the future success of the business.
“No business can stand still and be successful. We have to look to the future to ensure we are well equipped and positioned for the challenges that lay ahead. Further growth of both the UK network and our European structure is planned with talks in both Benelux and Bulgaria already well underway.
“We have also planned further investments in people, technology and network infrastructure as part of our strategic development plan for the UK and Europe.”
