Palletways helps pellet firm gain Italian entry

The Palletways network is supporting Cirencester-based biomass firm White Horse Energy’s entry into the Italian market.

White Horse Energy has been supplying kiln-dried wood and pellets to the UK for nine years and is now entering the market in Italy the largest domestic pellet-burning nation in the world, using around 3 million tonnes a year.

Palletways’ technology is being built into into White Horse Energy’s information system, allowing customers to decide when to receive their order and track progress.

Stuart Fitzgerald, owner of White Horse Energy, said: “We’ve a long-established relationship with Palletways and they’ve provided the technical expertise required to move our product across the Continent.”
