Panalpina offers Puerto Rico freighter
[ August 15, 2014 // Chris ]Panalpina has added Puerto Rico to its Cargolux-operated controlled freighter network. The weekly service from San Juan to Luxembourg gives healthcare customers guaranteed uplift on a Boeing 747-400F as well as the best possible control of temperature-sensitive goods. Most of the world’s healthcare giants operate production plants in and around San Juan and they prefer freighters as it is easier to control the temperature of the valuable goods and bigger lots can be moved as a single shipment. So far, companies exporting goods from Puerto Rico could only use passenger aircraft out of San Juan or freighters out of Aguadilla, 80 miles away.
