Partners to promote road-rail system

TX Logistik, part of the Italian railways’ Mercitalia Logistics arm, has signed an agreement with rail wagon rental company Wascosa, including a cooperation to market the NiKRASA rail-road handling system. The NiKRASA platform allows non-craneable semi-trailers, which currently make up around 90% of European truck fleets, an be loaded between road and rail in just two minutes, using existing terminal infrastructure. The system can also handle mega-trailers and container chassis while the empty loading frame can accommodate swap bodies and containers.
